This is a continuation of my conversation with Michael Fishman. If you haven't had the chance to listen to part 1 yet, please do. In this episode, we have a very special guest, Michael Fishman. He’s known for his role as D.J. Conner on the popular TV sitcom 'Roseanne,' which ran from 1988 to 1997. But here’s the funny thing, When I first met him, I was unaware of his background. He initially came to me as a client for readings, and I was utterly astounded by everything that he possessed– his energy, gifts, talent, unique qualities, the person that he is, and his soul.

To achieve growth in life, it's crucial to recognize that adhering to the same old routines and approaches won't yield the transformative progress we desire. Whether it's striving for groundbreaking discoveries or aiming to attain the pinnacle of success, following the crowd won't set us apart. Consider scientists as a prime example. While the world is teeming with brilliant minds, it's those who dare to break free from convention and embrace unorthodox thinking who truly leave their mark.
Take, for instance, John Gurdon, the British developmental biologist whose early academic struggles didn't deter him from making groundbreaking contributions to cloning and stem cell research, ultimately establishing himself as a luminary in the field of biology. Similarly, Srinivasa Ramanujan, the self-taught Indian mathematician, astounded the world with his remarkable contributions to number theory, mathematical analysis, and continued fractions.

Conscious Dreaming Meditation is a practice that combines meditation and mindfulness in order to strengthen one's awareness and control while in a dream state. Today, we will be discussing evidential mediumship. When you hear the term mediumship, you may imagine communicating with the deceased via a medium. and evidential mediumship emphasizes specific, detailed, and verifiable information—something more evidence-based and concrete, such as physical descriptions, significant dates, and other information that the medium would not ordinarily be able to know.
I believe it is impossible to conduct a reading with the spirit of a deceased person without first collecting evidence to support your claims. This is because I must be certain that the person I am connecting you with on the other side of this bridge is, in fact, the deceased loved one with whom you hoped to communicate. People who seek out this mediumship are grieving, and you do not want to play with their emotions by providing them with fraudulent readings because you have not gathered evidence that you are in fact connecting with the correct spirit.
It is not easy to conquer the feeling of loss; it requires a lot of effort on your part to move on after the death of a significant person in your life, someone with whom you had both happy and sad memories to share. This is a very heartfelt episode where I discussed pet loss, grief, difficult thoughts, support, grace, and acceptance. I was hesitant to talk about this because it's such a big part of my life. But just like what a therapist once told me, it takes a long time to tell a story when you're still feeling the pain of it. You'll feel better after hearing the story. As you tell it, it will get shorter and shorter, and that's how you'll know you're healing.
Life is messy. People who act like life is easy because they have figured out the spiritual side of things are getting on my nerves. I call it bullcrap. No matter how spiritual you are, everyone goes through tough times. And when things are bad, we need a helping hand. Don't discount the power of support, because so many people try to walk this earth alone and don't get any help. I want everyone to not shut down their hearts. It is important that people acknowledge their feelings rather than bury them. I don't want everyone to cry all the time, but I would like them to acknowledge their feelings.
My dog, Micah, passed away. I felt lost. I didn’t know where to go. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know what was next. There's a multitude of things happening all at the same time. It's not just Micah's passing that I'm dealing with, but also my mother's. I’m grieving. When I grieve, I grieve hard and I grieve with myself because I can't talk to many people. But this time, I decided to do something unusual, I reached out to people, and the response has been wonderful. We can't expect things to get better if we don't ask for and accept help.
I'm telling you this because I want to help you see the light in yourself. I hope that my story helps you find your inner healing. You are all healing me. I am so lucky that I have people that I can share my story with. Many of you, whether you're writers, speakers, actors, singers, doctors, moms, or dads, are healers. Get your work out there because the world needs to be healed. Do what you have to do to get your story out there.
